Initial estimates

Using flexibility and experience to estimate early and then refine

Our ability to adjust and adapt is a key facet for ComputerMinds. We recognise that projects will always be shifting, reviewing, pausing and changing - which makes our project and change management as important as the work itself.

Where needed and where possible, we can give early "finger in the air" estimates for most projects from just an initial discussion. For site builds, support contracts and larger projects, we would then refine as described below.

Refining

Through learning more about your project

Getting to know you

As we sit with you to learn the full scope of your project, discussing with your management and team, we'll be able to build a fuller understanding of the undertaking and requirements. Getting to know you, your business and your needs is foundational to our ongoing relationship and will underpin our ability to serve you.

Formal code review

Where we're taking on your existing site or code, and we are progressing beyond initial conversations towards a formal agreement, we'll ask to have access to your site code. A review of your actual code will help us refine our understanding of what we're working with.
