Drupal 7 Support
Support beyond EOL
From 5th January 2025, Drupal 7 will be considered an End Of Life product and no longer have official security support from the Drupal community. This date has been extended a number of times, but this one is final.
Time since the original EOL announcement has flown, and you’ll need to start thinking about the long term plan for your Drupal 7 site if you haven't already. You need to consider whether you require a Drupal 7 maintenance plan or an upgrade to latest Drupal, to ensure that you still benefit from all the Drupal open source goodness.
Not taking action could endanger your site

Long term support
We ❤️ Drupal 7. For over ten years we built and maintained a huge variety of sites, and are happy to continue doing so.
While community support is ending, there are paid support options available through some key larger suppliers - with a range of price points attractive to smaller sites less willing to go through an upgrade at this time. See the summary on drupal.org
We can help you select a plan and migrate to their platform, and then support you with continued development and maintenance.
ComputerMinds works with a number of clients where we take into account their varying requirements to tailor a support package for them. Take a look at the various Drupal services we offer to find out how we can help you with your Drupal website.
If you would like to get in touch and chat through your options you can do so below. We'd love to hear from you!
Upgrade
Move to latest Drupal
If you're ready to upgrade, or interested to better understand the process, we recommend reading our dedicated page on Drupal upgrades and updates.
We're also happy to discuss your situation via phone or email, help you get moving and stay secure.
Security updates
The good news is that, with a security maintenance partner in place, much of the hard work is sorted. ComputerMinds are experienced in ensuring security updates are applied as soon as they become available, and we can work with you to support any bespoke code that you have had written specifically for your site.
